Our Memoirs

We Have lately been looking at memoirs and even made some of our own inspired by James K Baxter, we also borrowed some of his structure like the start the 5 nouns the 5 verbs and the ending. Here is my one.

The campsite was usual enough ;

it had a playground, a creek, a beach a kitchen and even a campsite shop. My sister, my friends and I did what girls do - swam in the clear sea, ran madly through the maze of tents, helped in the kitchen, roasted marshmallows on the beach, snuck out to watch the stars

Sensational STRAND and Statistics

In our Early Level 4 STRAND group
over the last few sessions we have been
looking at investigations and even done
some of our own. The first investigation
was to find out which sport was the most
popular in our class, the second one was
to discover which was the most popular
M&M colour which was really fun
because we used real M&Ms. I learnt that
pie charts are used to show percentages.

My Science Fair Project

This term we have been learning about the scientific method. My science fair project is can people tell the difference between fruits and vegetables. My science fair has been challenging but I have learnt a lot like did you know that a pineapple is actually considered a berry.
